Charm is deceiving, beauty is fleeting. But a woman who honors the Lord is worthy to be praised.

God is attracted to weakness

We must always remember how weak and limited we are without God. For in our weakness we learn to be on our knees and depend on Him. Who gives us breath? Who gives us strength to walk? Who provides our food, clothes and shelter? Who gives us wisdom and knowledge to do our assignments? Isn’t it God? Thus, we say ‘I’am nothing without Christ’, ‘I’am desperate for Him.’ We cannot live without our Lord.

“I discovered an astonishing truth: God is attracted to weakness. He can’t resist those who humbly and honestly admit how desperately they need Him.” Jim Cymbala.

And so we say, “when I am weak, He makes me strong.” 2 Cor. 12:10. Through Him, the weak will be strong, the fool will be wise, the limited unlimited. We win battles of our life on our knees. Prayer..

Somebody stole my love song. Tssk.

Life is about choices:

Pray or panic
Worship or worry
Faith or fear
Love or hate
Friend or enemy
Forgive or grudge
Thanksgiving or complaining
Praise or criticize
Enjoy or struggle
Wisdom or foolishness
Life or death
God or no God.

Choices have consequences, choose wisely.

I could live a lifetime with you and then do it all again.

Love until it hurts

Here’s a paradox:

“If you love until it hurts, there can be no more love, only more love.”

- Mother Teresa

Loving a person who has faults, imperfections or sins is very hard to do because it is very difficult to accept all those things. Thus, it hurts because we all want to love someone who is deserving of our love. It’s easier to love a nice person than a person who has wronged or offended you.

But true love covers all sins, conceals them all and accepts them all.

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” -1 Cor. 13:7

When we love with this kind of love, there will be just more love. This is perfect love.
